A local amusement park called us on a Saturday morning when the office and shop was closed and needed some emergency aluminum parts made immediately. The owner of Cincinnati Metal Fabricating was in the office and there was a shop employee also in the shop doing some maintenance. Between the two of them, drawings for custom parts were created, parts were laser cut and then formed in a matter of hours. The park picked them up and was so appreciative that besides paying for the parts, they gave CMF a bunch of free season passes to the amusement park.

A customer was put into a bind when their main fabricating supplier refused to give the company access to their own drawings that the fabricator helped them create. Being pushed into a corner, the customer had to reverse engineer their own products for a complicated set of assemblies that all interlocked together. There were several hundred sub-components involved and Cincinnati Metal Fabricating was asked to be the guinea pig to fabricate and assemble one of these large assemblies from scratch. Working together with the company engineer, CMF pointed out issues and helped with the reverse engineering process and completed the project to couple with the engineer's trip to CMF to prove out that the reverse engineered product would function like the original units. Everything worked out flawlessly and the customer was no longer beholden to the other fabricator — for which the customer was very appreciative and awarded CMF with production units for years counting.

A customer located near Pittsburgh, PA, in the heart of the country's "rust belt" was having issues with their local supplier's quality and lead-time. Nearly every weldment and tank made by the other fabricator leaked and required the customer to fix them, and orders were often weeks late. Despite being located 5 hours away, the customer gave Cincinnati Metal Fabricating a chance to impress them with a hot order. CMF pulled out all the stops and shipped the products on time despite the nearly ridiculous lead-time needed. The thankful customer reported back that the CMF welds were beautiful and there was no leaking. On top of that, the customer's employees were in "full blown panic mode" because they were not used to getting what they ordered so fast.
